GEUSBCA Annual Meeting

Attention Evansville bowlers! Our annual GEUSBCA meeting will be held at River City Recreation on Saturday, June 2 at 10AM. This is a great time for anyone to come and voice their opinion/concerns, as well as learning more about what is planned for our local association in the coming year. Meeting is open to anyone, so please feel free to attend.

On Friday, March 23, 2018, Brandi Prevo shot games of 273, 289, 300 for an 832 series. This is a new Evansville city record. She beat out the old city record held by her sister Jayme Prevo. Congrats on the huge accomplishment!

The 2018 GEUSBCA Hall of Fame Banquet will be Saturday, November 3 at the Sweetwater Event Center on the east-side by Cracker Barrel. Tickets will be available later this year. Additionally, be sure to think of anyone who you believe is deserve of potential nomination of this year's induction. You can find the official nomination form attached. There are four categories for induction:  Outstanding Performance, Meritorious Behavior, Senior Outstanding Performance, and Youth Special Recognition.

We would like to thank everyone who came out to bowl our annual city tournament. Follow the link to see the winners for each event. Special congratulations to Mike Vandiver for bowling 2 - 300 games during the 2018 city tournament. He was the only one to shoot a 300 in the tournament, and takes home the big 300 jackpot!

2018 High School All State Teams

Congratulations to Connor Bixby, Lexi Head, Brandon Coomes, and Kennedy Craig on being appointed to various all state teams for the 2017-2018 high school bowling season.

4th Edition of the High School Reunion Tournament and Fundraiser to help raise funds for the local high school bowling programs. Also an opportunity for local bowlers to relive their glory days in high school and compete with old rivals.

Congrats to everyone who had a great 2016/2017 Season. Please see the attached list for the winners of the All City Team.

Evansville Local - Matt Sanders chosen as PBA Rookie of the Year

Matt Sanders is an Evansville born bowler who has made it on the big scene of professional bowling. He has already won a national PBA tour title and made the telecast for this past year's PBA World Championship. The year has been topped off with his election as the PBA Rookie of the Year. Please see the attached story for more details, and everyone be sure to say congrats the next time you see Matt!
